The twenty-second class

Today in the class we have seen jolly phonics' speech. The pronunciation of the teacher is very important for the pupils, to get it and know the words well.  If you don not know how to pronunce a word, it is better to learn how to do it, because when you tell something in the class, the pupils don not know if that is rhigt or wrong.  So it is important prepare the future teachers, to have a good pronunciation and good rhythm. Then we have tell a story for the rest of the class, with draws instead of words. That is for the children, to know the story, because they don not know how to read, but they undertand the draws. 

The twenty-first class

Today in the class we have done the rest of the exhibition: unit 4 numbers, colors and shapes; unit 5 the world around us and unit 6 festivities.  We have learned a lot of materials, activities, methodology, etc. to use it in the class with our children.  This class is very important to us because in the future we need some material, some resources to use in the class. It is very important the theory too, but you need how to use it. 

The twentieth class

Today we have done an exhibition about the basic language activities, that are: Roll the ball:The children roll the ball to each other, ask and answer questions.   Go and fine: The teacher gives instruction and the dhicldren run to the correct picture. Fetching: The children listen to instructions and fetch the correct item. Drawing on the board: The children draw on the board according to the teacher´s instructions.  Recognition: The children select an object in a picture according to the teacher´s instructions. Stop the difference: The children try to find differences between two pictures.  Then we have done some app to practice vocabulary in the class. This is very interesting because you can teach the children in difference way, and they probably learn more because is more interactive and it is something thath they do not do it before. 

The nineteenth class

We have done a theatre in the class, with paper puppet. The text is: Where is the dog? The dog is in the box. Where is the cat? The cat is on the car. Where is the bird? The bird is on the bed. Where is the frog? The frog is behind the dor. Where is the horse? The horse is on the floor. Where is the monkey? The monkey is jumping on the pumkin. And where are you? I am with all of you. Then we have done a story with a die, this die have some images with characters, the place, and so on, to do a story.  I like so much this class because we have some materials to do activitites for very young learners, and how to use it. 

The eighteenth class

We have done some exhibition about activitites that we can do in pre-primary education about phonemas, sounds, letters, etc.  Later we have done an activity to tell a chant with puppets.  In this class we have learned about how to teach phonemas with the jolly phonics metodoloy.

The seventeenth class

Todya we have learned google cheats. These tools can hel us in our class room to teach new things in different way.  For example you can do a questionnaire in google drive and the pupil have to answer the questions.  Other cheat is make stories with storyjump or with other kind of tool thath you can find on internet.  All of these is very usefull to use in the class, because the pupils learn faster, due to you teach in a different way.

The sixteenth class

In this class we have learned the rhymes songs and jazz chants. These are resources to work in class. It is a way to learn the contents in pre-primary education, that is active, where the child learn playing.  You can teach a song with a structure, first you teach the first sentence, then the second, then repeat the first and the second, and so on. You cannot teach the song non-stop. I like to much this class because you will use a lot the songs, the rhymes and the jazz chants to teach new things.  I attached a jazz chants: Where is the dog? The dog is in the box. Where is the cat? The cat is on the car. Where is the bird? The bird is on the bed. Where is the frog? The frog is behind the door. Where is the horse? The horse is on the floor. Where is the monkey? The monkey is jumping on the pumkin. And where are you? A im with all of you.

The fifteenth class

We have learned more phonetic, and we have practiced it.  Then we have done some activities to leanr phonectic in a different way, for example with music, songs, etc. You have to teach to your student the phonetic english, because it is not the same as in spanish. You write the word different than you pronunce it.  It is important too the rhythm, because in a sentence there are words stronger than others, and this can change the significate of the sentence. 

The fourteenth class

We have started the unit 3. The professor teach us about the limericks (taht is a silly poem with five lines). We have practiced this, making a poem: There was a vowel in the sun. She was very happy and fun. Se had got a pet. And her name is Jet. And they like too much run and jump. Other think thath we have learned in this class is the storytelling, that it is very important for young children to learn new things.  So this class it is very important because we have learned about how to teach for our studnet new things in different way. 

The thirteenth class

Today there have been exhibition about CLIL and TPR. Then the professor has taught us the sounds of the letters. This is very important becuase we need to pronunce well for the children.

The twelfth class

We have done a lot of exercise of CLIL. For example make figures with triangles, make words with some characteristic thing that the pupil can rememeber the word (an example is, the teacher write the word cloud and in the letter "o" make a cloud). Then the proffesor teach us the vowels of english. In spansih we have five, and in english we have twelve.   

The eleventh class

The tenth class

We have done the assessment abd european language.  The assessment is about how to know the teacher that the pupil know what we teach them. It is not like a evaluation, it is more general, the evaluation it is more specific. We can assess our pupils with the observation, projects, portfolios, conferencing, and so on. Even more, the pupil can assess themselves.  The most important of assessment is the portfolio. It is something that the student can get into their best exercises of the course.  For the teacher, we can have the european portfolio of language.

The ninth class

We have readen the common european framework document. This document address about the common language in europe, taht it is good because you can travel to other countries and speak with other people. In addition, it is important too protect the minority language. There are four important things for the education: knowledge, skills and know-how, existential and ability to learn.  Apart form this, there are three types of comunicative linguistic competence: linguistic competence, sociolinguistic competence and pragmatic competence.  In sum up,this class is usefull because we have learned what level of language we have, and how we can evaluate to know what level have other people. Even more, it is importatn to have a good level to can teach in other language.
